Onuaboh Youth Inaugurate New Executives.

  The youth of Umuoche Onuaboh in Ndokwa East swears in new executives that will pilot the affairs of the clan for next 4 years, The Courage.

 This was after the free and fair election held at the Okpala Uku’s palace between Ndisika Harrison and Dumbi Babagidan contesting for the youth President. The election was monitored by assigned vigilant personnel in an effort to ensure a conducive and seren atmosphere.

  However, Ndisika Harrison won the election as the president of the community with 5 votes against his counterpart, Sunday Anochie as the vice President, Nwadocheli Famous emerged as the Public Relations officer, Chukwunalu Anochie as the general secretary, Uwadi Asikodi as the Task force chairman among others.

    Highlight of the occasion were the presentation of kolanuts, prayers, swearing in of oath, music and food items to commemorate the gathering.

  The people equally charged the new excos to always uphold the interest of the clan as opposed to personal interest with the aim of driving home development.

  In his acceptance speech, the president assured the youths that his administration will not flinch in pursuit of good governance. “The entitlement of the people shall be given to them in due time, I want to state that the responsibility reposed on us will not be taken for granted”, he berated.

 He lamented on the poor living condition of Onuaboh regardless of the fact that it is one of the oil contributing community in Ndokwa and Delta at large yet, the residents are still suffering as a result of bad roads, unhygienic water, lack of hospitality and electricity

   In their separate remarks, they applauded everyone’s supports and also pledged to serve for the interest of the people.   They assured to create good relations with the political elites within and outside the local government so as to facilitate the rehabilitation of roads, infrastructural and other developmental strides.
