Leadership takes on various meanings to different individuals, and that’s perfectly acceptable. People have diverse perspectives on this pivotal concept. However, one undeniable truth is that leadership is about wielding influence, irrespective of one’s position – whether you’re at the helm, in the middle, or at the bottom of an organization.
Many view leadership as a positional title rather than the ability to attract and inspire followers. This is often because they may not be adequately prepared for the responsibilities that accompany such positions. Frequently, individuals seek exceptions rather than striving to be exceptional themselves. I believe that everyone possesses leadership capabilities at a certain level, and your level need not be as high as those you may admire. What truly matters is how effectively you can lead and influence those around you.
